As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve got a whole series of instructional videos lined up, tabbed out and everything; I’ve already posted three of them on my YouTube channel (you can find them a few posts down on this blog page).
What has caused me to keep postponing additional video shoots is that I’ve had vocal cord issues for about the past (5) years. I injured my voice sometime around 2015 and it’s been a really long road to recovery doing vocal rehab exercises.
My voice is hugely improved from where it started but it’s still not 100% predictable, and it’s very frustrating trying to do video shoots with a glitchy voice. Hopefully I’ll get to the next batch of videos sooner rather than later! Please keep your fingers crossed for me. Cheers!
I’ve been meaning to start doing guitar instructional videos for a long time. Honestly I don’t know what the holdup has been, other than I’ve been having some voice-related health issues for the past five years or so, and sometimes it’s a real effort to speak normally, which makes me feel shy about being on camera.
Anyhow, my voice has improved quite a bit lately, so I knocked out the first two of what I hope to be many instruction videos to come. PDFs of tablature for each lesson is included in the video description on the YouTube page. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!
